If you have all natural fibre fabrics, sometimes an option is to over-dye clothes to bring them into harmony with each other. Dyes are highly toxic of course, and there's often a contrast stitching result since the garment may be cotton or linen but often the sewing thread is polyester, but it's a useful possibility. xPen Wilcockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13818227904371811230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-55532501364780143.post-8899796347769732382021-05-20T08:08:17.444+01:002021-05-20T08:08:17.444+01:00I also have real weakness for 'useful' pac...I also have real weakness for 'useful' packaging, something that can easily lead to the kitchen being overwhelmed by stuff if not kept in check.

My emerging clothes simplicity is a little different from yours. I've been working on it for about 15 years now, honing it down to a simple path that works for me. I always wear skirts, unless I'm doing yoga or something in a really brambly/nettly bit of the world. I have one pair of jeans for that, but my bottom half was really not designed with trousers in mind! The skirts are moving towards being all plain colours. My tops are moving towards being all patterned (I love Seasalt fabrics). Cardigans are plain colours.

My main problem on this path at the moment is that I love blue, but don't want blue skirt and top at the same time. I'm trying to embrace the discipline of grey and brown skirts to let me enjoy blue tops more often.

It's a journey!

ZillahZillahnoreply@blogger.com
