I'm not quite up for sunrise as yet, but since I came back from holiday I haven't adjusted my body clock so I get up at 5am.
I love how much I get done in the mornings, including a very important hour and a half of yoga, meditation, prayer and journalling.
No amount of extra sleep gained from a lie in can replace how good I feel by 11am when I have done so much, including an hour to do the creative writing that I have always wanted to do and never allowed myself to!
I'm not up at sunrise, but generally awake before 6 am. I love the stillness of the morning, punctuated only by the incessant demands of the cat wanting to be fed :-D

....and hear the first bird songs of the morning.
ReplyDeleteAh - yes to both! Precious work time and the loveliness of the dawn chorus. xx
