I've binge watched her videos several times and really enjoy them, but I do find them a bit preachy at times....maybe because I'm old and she is on her journey of discovery of ways to live in this convoluted society. Bless her and her journey!
I know what you mean, Gerri. I think what may be happening is that she's constructing her equivalent of a Rule of Life; she's putting in place principles and habits of mind that run counter to her default mode. I appreciate especially the quality of quiet and honest humility that comes through in her videos; it feels so restful to me.
Indeed! Have you checked out her sister's channel " Thirsty for Art"? It's just as sweet as Youheum's. I do look forward to each new video from both,I especially liked her video on her 15 item wardrobe, which is intriguing, but living in a climate where winters can dump feet of snow and ice and temperatures often below 0 it remains impossible....but I can strive to minimize my clothes for each season.
A 15-item wardrobe is indeed impressive! I only just discovered Youhjung's channel (and website) this last week, and I have it in mind to explore some of her very interesting looking videos in days to come. x
Yes her videos are so peaceful to watch x
ReplyDeleteI think so too. And her attitude of tolerance and respect makes me happy.
