Ha! Done!

Sat up late last night, started again early this morning. Finished writing my story.

Next is to read through and make any necessary adjustments, then it goes to Tony for editing and copy-editing.

Alice and Hebe are already working on the cover art, and Tony will write the back cover copy.

Then it'll all go to Jonathan for the text and cover to be formatted — it sometimes takes a few goes to get that exactly right.

After that it'll come back to Tony and me for proof-reading.

Then Tony uploads to Amazon and it'll take them a few days to publish.

All this can take a while.

I'm hoping we'll have it to you by the end of March.

"St Luke's Little Summer."

This has totally made my day!!! I shared your blog and your books at an online Quaker course that I'm doing with Woodbrooke College, its all about Simplicity. In a small breakout group with another chap he talked about books being 'friends' and I said that your books I would attempt to save from a fire. I shared with the larger group that your books really speak to the human condition and that the monks are like old friends to me and every time I read 'their' words I'm reminded of what I need to know in that given moment.

I think Sandra Ann expressed so beautifully how your writing is used by God to minister to us!

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I'm almost jumping for joy! In fact, I'll jump when I have the book. How not to jump when there's a good book you haven't read yet? I've been having this kind of pleasure so rarely lately!.. I feel like I've already read all the good books... ;)

Если вас не смущает неотредактированная версия, я могу выслать вам PDF-файл.

Nothing bothers me except obscenities and black talk. Fortunately, there is no need to fear this :) As for the style, auto-translation kills it completely. Alas, but it is so. But I will be happy to read your book in any form.

Я вышлю вам PDF-файл. В нём могут быть опечатки и другие мелкие ошибки, но в целом он будет выглядеть так, как задумано.

I am just about to finish “A Path of Serious Happiness” having been introduced to the series last year. These have been a beautiful collection of stories and I’m so glad the tales are continuing. The characters are so real and it’s easy to identify with some of their traits. I’ve loved it! Thank you so much Pen.

Thank you so much! I was smiling from ear to ear on my way to work today, and when I opened the book in the evening and saw my name, I was jumping for joy. From now on, all young readers are allowed to jump in the library, because if I'm jumping, it would be unfair to ask them not to :) I'm going to bed tonight feeling happy and excited about tomorrow... It's been a long time since I've felt this way!
