Sigh

This morning I was woken early out of deep sleep, dragged by a sense of urgency, a voice in the distance calling “Help! Help! Help!”

“Help! Help! Help! Help! Help!”

Cripes!  What?

“Help! Help! Help! Hahahahahahahahaha Help! Help! Help! Hahaha”

Oh, right.  A seagull.

You are lucky to live so near the water. We have Canadian geese, which used to be an exciting novelty as they flew through, spring and fall.
Now they're pests....

:0) I love our seagulls. They're hilarious. Greedy, vulgar, loud birds. And graceful of course. And beautiful. The seagulls in Brighton killed a man for his bag of chips (french fries US).

I thought so too - it flew over our garden this evening while we were out digging and watering. I know it was the same one because it was still shouting "Help! Help! Help!"
