Today is Julie Faraway's birthday

Happy birthday, Julie!

May this year hold the key to unlock

Beauty

Joyous moments (plenty of them)

Peace

Contentment

Wellbeing

Silence

Hope

Opportunities

Hidden treasures

Friendship

Time to dream

And the odd crazy moment

Oh, a year is a long road

The way ahead is hidden in mystery

But may you be provided for in unexpected ways

As well as finding happiness in the familiar and loved

May your hand find the hand of Jesus and never let go

May you walk in His way and never falter

And may you know yourself loved abundantly

Happy birthday, Julie xxx

Take no notice of the date at the head of this post - catch up, turning Earth - it's the FOURTH of September today - just rather early!

I love all of the pictures. But, of course, I want to know where the little house is!

Is Julie your daughter? Happy Birthday!

Ember...Ember... Oh! I loved every part of this. I loved the meaningful wishes and the photos, the time you took to put such a thoughtful happy birthday post on your blog.

Is that my cake? I'll pretend it is. :)

In a part of my life when I sometimes feel overlooked or easy to forget (poor, poor pitiful me!) you've made me feel loved and remembered today. Thank you. *Thank you.*

You've lifted my heart today and I will never forget.

Hiya :0)

Sherry - Julie is my friend in Duluth. The little house is where she sometimes goes to stay for a silent retreat. I am very envious. It's here:

I thought I recognized a Pacem in Terris Hermitage! That is where I discovered "The Road of Blessing"

Hi Beth - well, Julie is a special person. If you look on my list of blogs in the side-pane, hers is right at the bottom, "Just Julie" with no icon - the format she uses makes it not load like the others for some reason; I think it's because it was made for her, it's not an off-the-peg one like Google Blogger or Wordpress. Julie's blog is an inspiration to all of us who read it, because she is a person who puts Jesus first in her life.

Hi DMW - The reason you found the Road of Blessing at Pacem in Terris is because my friend Julie put it there :0)

Hi Asta - waving! x

Hi Julie,
I am south of the Twin Cities in Lakeville. I have been to Pacem in Terris twice now,the second time I was particularly blessed. I was able to finish reading Ember's book that you left while there and returned it for the next hermit. It has made quite an impact on me. Thanks again! DMW
