Spring

For every person who has ever lived
there has come, at last,
a spring he will never see.
Glory then
in the springs that are yours.

thank you for the lovely reminder. we are having a beautiful spring here in iowa. lilacs are in bloom, scenting the air with grace and fragrance. we rejoice in planting out our gardens, admiring the seedlings as they come up and revelling in cool nights and warm sunny days (with a bit of rain thrown in for good measure!)

Wow, what is the purple flower? We have phlox, columbine, and grape hyacinths blooming purple in our front border, right now.

Thank you for the poem. Needed it.

Bluebells!?

How delightful!

We only have cold & rain to share but you could have it if you like. Will swap for bluebells.

Bluebells, yes, that's right. Pilgrim if you do a Google image search on bluebells or bluebell woods, you will she some most beautiful pictures - lifts the heart.

Lovely photo. Reminded me of a Laura Ashley catalogue from the late 70s :) and speaking of which, albeit off topic, you and/or your modestly dressing readers might emjoy this. It calls itself Orthodox Clothing but, again, has hints of the old Laura Ashley about it (with some Jane Austen)- http://baryshnya.com/catalogue

Thanks, Margaret - fond memories - I spent my first wages buying those 70s Laura Ashley dresses!

I just read your interview on the inkpenauthoress, and I wanted to thank you for taking time to talk with us there and for sharing about your experiences. I have not read your books yet -- I only first heard of you this morning! But I was delighted by your comments in the interview. I especially appreciate that you are a holistic writer. Thank you again for visiting inkpenauthoress!
