Hysterical delight

Oh, man, I am SO PLEASED with myself!!!

I've spent HOURS today patiently learning how to do stuff on a Mac, and figuring out how to make montages and graphic layouts in the absence of Microsoft Paint.

I wanted to be able to upload things to our church Facebook page, to make it a) relevant and b) pretty.

And FINALLY I managed to make this:

Hooray!  I am just so pleased that I did that  :0D

Very nice job! Does this mean you have switched over from a PC to a Mac?

I have. There are 2 Mac users in our household, and I have been impressed by how long-lasting they have been compared to PCs. Everyone I know who has a Mac loves it. So this time I took the plunge! My computers get almost industrial use, and when I enquired what people recommend for sheer sturdiness, the Mac fans recommended theirs wholeheartedly.

Yay!! I switched from PCs to a Mac almost five years ago and have never looked back. Once I got the feel for it, I loved it. I will never go back to a PC. Also, you're looking so pretty these days.... xo

you can also be proud of your lovely books. i just finished book 1 of the hawk & the dove trilogy. absolutely loved it. such wonderful stories of good hearted folk who try, fail, try again and succeed more or less. just like us! i can already think of several people who will love this as a christmas gift. it's truly a delight, pen. thank you for sharing these stories with us.

p.s. i have a macbook pro and LOVE it. wouldn't use anything else.

:0) Thank you, Gretchen! The 7th book in the series should be coming out in a month or so.

Yes, I got a MacBook Pro - a 13" one.

Wow, there's some good news!

(I'm reading Sharon Garlough Brown's Sensible Shoes right now. You might like it--four women going through a several month course of spiritual exercises/direction. Pretty good.)
