Today
I had the covers through for the next two books out in The Hawk and the Dove series new edition.
They
will both be out in February 2016. After that there will be one more, A Day and a Life, completing the series.
A Day and a Life is still going through
the publishing meetings to ascertain if it will be accepted for publication,
but the signs are good so far. If all goes well it will be out in the summer of
2016.
Meanwhile
this book, 52 Original Wisdom Stories,
is available in the US too, now (here). I’m pleased with it – I think
you would enjoy it. It has life, the universe and everything in it, and explores
the cosmic round of things; is full of wondering.

Congratulations on your books being published and the attractive covers.
I think I need to proof read the final two books for you, Pen...there might be errors you didn't notice. You know...just to be on the safe side ;-D
Thank you, Terra :0) xx
Oh, gosh, Debs - it's such ages to wait, isn't it? It seems silly, seeing as I wrote them, but I do enjoy being able to read the stories in book form. It's different somehow. And even though I understand all the reasons why it takes so long, it's difficult to be patient. I will rush you copies the minute they appear, I promise. xx
There is such an appealing simplicity to these book covers, and a sense of timelessness. Yay!
:0) xx
It's toooooooooooooooooooo long...I could be dead by then! Hehehe :-D
(Wanders off with a blanket to sleep til February...)
I think proofreading is a fantastic idea. If you need a proofreader in the US let me know. I would be happy to volunteer my services. I have read the entire series three times and loaned my set to several friends who also loved them.
And to think two new ones are being published next year. How exciting! Thank you so much for continuing the series.
There you are, Debs - you've started something now!
Thank you for your kind offer, ladies :0)
Actually, proofreaders are taken on by the publishing house rather than by me personally, Southern Catholic. I think Debs knows that really … ;0)
I am much encouraged by your enthusiasm.

I do know that :-D Only when the Holy Spirit was handing out patience I was too busy trying to see what was in my Christmas presents :-D

These are some of the most beautiful book covers I've ever seen. So appropriate for the content. They speak of antiquity, mystery, simplicity, and are very inviting. Unique too -- many book covers look similar these days but these stand out in a lovely way.
xoxo
Thank you, Julie - I'll send your comment on to the art man at the publishers. xx
oh, how am i ever going to make it until february? i'm heading over to amazon to see if i can place a 'pre-order'. at least that will give me something to do whilst i wait. two more friends have been introduced to your series and they will also be waiting with bated breath. the excitement will be building over on our side of the pond. congratulations!
:0) Thank you, that's so kind! Now the covers are finalised, I think they'll go up for pre-order soon. xx
I ordered these two a wee while ago - and the waiting time seems too long. I must find your short stories, to fill the gap. I love the covers of all of them, although I have the first three as a trilogy in one book, and the cover isn't the same as the others. Thanks, Pen.
Ah - I think you would enjoy the short stories - wait - which ones did you mean? There's the new book, "52 Original Wisdom Stories", which is basically two people chatting their way through the spiritual mysteries of the year. Then there's "The Wilderness Within You", which is conversations with Jesus. Both of those are books of short fiction pieces. But there's also the really old, out of print one - "Thereby Hangs A Tale" - from way back when; I think you'd like that too. A choice!
