I'm surprised how many people oppose the asylum seekers. So many of them have tragic stories, and I hope they can rebuild their lives here/there. :/ I made friends with some in my Finnish language course and they are truly wonderful people.
In the UK at least, our government has been so incompetent and so corrupt that they have been whipping up ill feeling against the refugees to distract attention from their own shameful and shady 'leadership'.
