I'm delighted to see that David Towns of Monastic Retreats is offering the opportunity to join in saying Compline together every Wednesday evening at 9pm UK time (GMT +1, otherwise known at BST).
There are two ways to join in.
You can go through the page on the Monastic Retreats website here, with the advantage of having the words given on the page for you to follow, or you can go in via the YouTube channel here.
If you want to see what it will be like, here is last week's YouTube video:
David belongs to the Church of England, so I think they'll be following the C of E form of Compline, which is here — you could have the words open on a separate tab to help you follow along.
If you're not in the UK, rather than attempting Compline at one o'clock in the morning or whatever it will be where you are, perhaps the best thing to do might be to join in with the previous week's YouTube video when it's your region's 9pm on Wednesday?
What a welcome initiative! I am very much looking forward to joining in this Wednesday (22nd July) — which will be tomorrow evening when I post this but will probably be this evening by the time you read it.
