And if only our cat Flossie would withdraw her talons when she goes into kneading mode before settling on my plush bed cover each night! Mairin.

Ahh...those claws look very familiar--I have a couple of their cousins on my desk most of the time! (You can meet Pepper and Pewter in an email I just sent you.)

Hello, friends! Gosh, what a lovely roomful of online sisters! All cat people and women of faith. How I'd love to have you all physically gathered for a cup of tea by the fire. Nice to see you.

Utterly perfect that you alerted me via email to the existence of online jigsaw puzzles, Susan, because I'm marooned in bed until my legs agree to be walked on. Jigsaws online! Who knew? (Everyone but me).

This made me chuckle. A wonderful picture and I imagined ominous music building as the view of the claws zoomed in. I am a dog person, am I still welcome at the gathering? :) xoxo

There is a hymn for dog people — "Trust and obey" — especially the bit that says "We'll walk by your side in the way . . . "
