Free book

I had an email a while back from David C Cook publishing house, who carry (in e-book form, the paperback went out of print ages ago) my novel The Clear Light Of Day.

The email gave me notice that on May 1st and 2nd, The Clear Light Of Day will be obtainable free. So if you haven’t read it and would like to – here’s an opportunity.

This is what the email says (an extract):
I am pleased to let you know we have selected your book, The Clear Light of Day, for inclusion in our DCCebooks.com promotions. This entails making your eBook free across all the major retailers for 48 hours on May 1–2. The eBook will then be $1.99 for the next 30 days . . . The promotion will be announced via our website, DCCebooks.com. Once you see the website has been updated with your title (this does not happen until the morning the promo begins), please do share the link . . .

I think you just have to go to David C Cook’s website hereon the right day, though if it’s going to be across all major retailers, maybe you could alternatively go to Amazon (or wherever you have an account set up and normally get your books).

Gosh, look, they have loads of free books on promotion, and today (April 29) Rachel Phifer’s book The Language Of Sparrows is included, here.

Anyway, just letting you know.

I just picked up my copy last week and read your lovely letter which I'd tucked inside. It was a very good book. I enjoyed the characters so much. I'm glad to see it shared with a new audience of readers!
