Update on Deb S

Thank you for praying for Deb S, friends (see my post here if you don't know who I mean).

I've heard this morning from her mum Jean, that Deb has gone from the hospital to the hospice for end of life care.

Deb is upheld in dying as in living by her strong belief in Jesus. When you have a moment, I'll be so grateful if you continue to hold her in the light and call the powers of earth and heaven to carry her safely home.

Thank you, Greta — I've been wondering, too! We were in correspondence, then I didn't hear from her and, knowing how ill she was and that the hospital was working on her palliative care package, I didn't like to pester her with emails. I was so grateful to her mum for getting in touch today.

I think often, for those who know & love Jesus, there is a sense of expectation, of going Home. Finally, we get to see face to face. I pray it is so for Deb!

Yes, I pray it is so. When last I heard from her, she hadn't thought she'd be going to die, but knew that if it was so she'd be with Jesus, and felt content that should be so.
