Very concentrated reading. One of Lawrence’s last poems, and heavy with sadness and death. I’m looking forward to you showing where the light is, how resurrection happens here. See you and everyone at the Campfire on Sunday. Xx
i am so looking forward to this! there's so much to unpack here . . . from the poem to the heart sutra that you quoted from. there is a line in that which is a particular favourite of mine, 'no path, no understanding, no attainment.' there is nothing that we have to strive for or achieve. there is just this. life. to rest in change and flow, birth and death, sickness and health, peace and chaos. only this.
Just this morning I was contemplating some practices in my life that I need to tell goodbye because they are no longer useful. I sense the need to prepare my heart for it and so I loved hearing this poem.
Ah yes, this is a wonderful winnowing time, isn't it — for discernment, evaluation and review, sorting things out and reading the maps to determine a wise way forward. A clearing time. x

Ooh — how interesting! To me, that poem feels so uplifting and full of hope! Let's see how we unfold things round the campfire on Sunday. x
