Still waiting to hear from David C Cook if I can continue to put these instalments here — but, for the moment; here you go! x

Dear Pen, I hope he can see his way through to letting you continue. I put your readings on at the end of the day to calm and restore me, and I’ve told others about The Hawk and Dove. There surely must be an abundance enough to let you read your own stories. God speed!

You would have thought. In the meantime, writers, take note and learn. Self-publishing is not an easy road, and years ago I did not recommend it for all the usual reasons. Life experience, over the years, has changed my mind. x

It takes very little to please me it seems Pen but I was jumping with joy to see the next installment. Thank you and I do wonder where the story will take Esme. I saw a King Parrot on my walk this morning - quite a rare sighting. So magnificent. Things are good here. As Sr. Clare says, He is with you on the journey. Hugs from all of us in Bathurst. x

A king parrot! I just looked them up — wow! We have nothing remotely like that in England! Sr Clare . . . I do hope she's okay; poor love. xx
